Wow, Secondary school is ridiculously stressful. I come home everyday at like 5P.M. everyday and I start homework and when I finish I find the sky has darkened and it's already 10P.M. You may think I'm exaggerating but no - I do have that much work. So I have literally no time to revise at all, and I stay back during recess to revise. I only go to the water cooler to refill my water bottle and I go back to class and revise. I know it seems like I'm begging for pity and sympathy - but really! On top of that I have recently had to do three slide shows, one Math, one Science, one Literature, prepare for it, write scripts, research and stuff. All that in addition to homework. It's only on rare occasions such as this when I am free and have the time to blog. That's why I have to apologize for the drought of blog posts. I have to jam so much into 24 hours, including sleep. I go to sleep at like midnight these days and not because I watch TV ( frankly the only show I watch this day is Sponge Bob but I always miss it to give way to my studies ). I'm really stressed sometimes , to the point that I just want to throw everything aside and SLEEP;. Not die, though; I don't wanna be so... Full of macabre thoughts. I know it's not that important, but my faceBook games are suffering. I think I'll leave them until June Holidays, or at least play only on weekends. Ngee Ann's class tests are okay; I got and A for Math, but I haven't gotten Chinese and Science papers back yet, and I also haven't even DONE the English one... My English teacher, Ms. Poh, is teaching us annotations too, just like Mdm. Nor did. Somehow when I don't annotate nowadays, my work seems incomplete to me. I also got into Art Club CCA. I was posted to my sixth choice at first, NPCC, which I had listed down only because one uniformed group was required, but I appealed for Art Club, my first choice. I only know one person there, Zheng Xun, (LINKED!), who was from basketball. According to him the training is really vigorous. Anyway, on the first day of Art club we only did research. We have to draw a picture about our feelings about the earthquake in Haiti. Then the school will send it to Geneva and they will be auctioned off. Those whose pictures are sold will get an award from NYAA, and the money will be donated to the homeless or orphaned children of Haiti to pay for their education. Knowing that the money will be donated to orphaned or homeless children make me want to draw like I've never drawn before... I cannot truly understand, however, how they must feel. I'm really lucky to have a great family, the best in my heart and mind, and a home to live in... I haven't done any digital art this year, but I've done some on paper. I've scanned them into the computer and I'll post them here! Art Sketchbook Name Page  This is my design of my first page of the sketchbook for art lesson.
